The violet, or viola cornuta, has small colored flowers. It grows well in full sun or shade, flowering all winter long.
It can also behave as a perennial plant, however giving a less abundant flowering the following year. Small-flowered violets literally cover themselves with flowers, they are self-cleaning.
Attention: the height of the plant may vary according to the season in which it is purchased. They are among the most requested spring plants because they combine a delicate appearance with unsuspected resistance. Among the many species and varieties available, the cornuta viola stands out for its intense aroma: it is characterized by light green and oval-shaped leaves.
